Flower & Produce Show Saturday Sept 14

The Flower & Produce show will be held on Saturday, September 14.  St Richard’s Hall will be open from 8.00 to 10.45 for you to submit your entries. The hall will then be closed for judging until 2.15, when people will be readmitted for the prizegiving at 2.30.  Come and join us!

URGENT – Planning deadline, Tuesday Sept 17

The Rockwell development has twice been refused planning permission, first by RBG Planning Board and then by the Mayor of London. The developers are now making an appeal to the Planning Inspectorate. Comments on the development must be made to the Planning Inspectorate by Tuesday Sept 17. Charlton Together have issued some guidance for anyone wanting to make comments, including reasons why local residents have previously objected to the scheme.

SE7 play Cattleya, Sunday Sept 29

Our CCRA resident band, SE7, will be playing a selection of music at Cattleya in Charlton Church Lane, on Sunday September 29, 7.30-10.00. Entry is free. Come and enjoy a wide range of music, from jazz to tangos and much more.

Annual General Meeting, Thursday Oct 10

On Thursday 10 October, CCRA will be holding its twelfth annual general meeting. Everyone is warmly invited to join us. After the formal business there will be a talk from Alan Robinson about the work of our local food bank. Tea, coffee and biscuits available free of charge.
