Singing group

Formed in 2008, the CCRA Singing Group is open to anyone in the CCRA area. There’s no audition and no need to read music—just come along to enjoy singing! We meet every two weeks, but attending every session isn’t required. Our focus is on singing for fun, not preparing for performances.

Singing at CCRA Events

The group sings a wide variety of songs, largely chosen by members, including popular songs, folk tunes, madrigals, rounds, and music from different cultures. We occasionally perform at CCRA socials and other local events.

A highlight each year is our Christmas carol singing around the neighbourhood in December, raising money for local charities. Since 2012, our carolling efforts have raised over £2,000 for different organisations.
