Please note that all activities in St Richard’s Hall, including the Time to Get Fit exercise sessions, are suspended until further notice.
CCRA have secured a council grant to fund a pilot scheme of 20 exercise sessions throughout this coming autumn and winter. The activities take place for an hour on Monday mornings, between 11.30 and 12.30, and the hall will be open half an hour before and after (i.e. from 11.00 – 1.00), to allow some time for socialising and refreshments.
The sessions will be led by Mandy Rawsthorne, and are designed for all ages and abilities but especially for women and men aged between 50 and 80. They will be free until the end of the pilot period, though participants will be expected to be members of associate members of CCRA.
CCRA hopes to keep these sessions running permanently, so in the new year we will discuss what might be an appropriate charge to cover the cost of hiring the hall and paying an instructor when the grant runs out.
