One of the most important days on the CCRA calendar. It is basically a day when we get together to clean or green our neighbourhood in the morning and have fun in the afternoon. We so enjoyed the Arts, Crafts and Jumble Trail that we are doing it again this year and are adding new activities. For more information see below.
Community Day Clean-Up 10.00-12.00
More information coming soon…
CCRA’s Arts, Crafts and Jumble Trail promises to be a fantastic event!
Sell your handiwork, clear out your cupboards, pick up a bargain and meet your neighbours.
Last year’s trail was a wonderful afternoon, with stalls selling amazing handmade jewellery, upcycled furniture, books, plants, cakes and even homemade dog food.
We want to make this year’s bigger – and better.
So why not sign up for a stall? And encourage your friends and neighbours to join in!
Where will it be?
The Trail takes place on the following roads in the CCRA area and it’s open to all residents in those roads:
Calydon Road, Coombe Lodge, Delafield Road, Elliscombe Road, Frank Burton Close, Gollogly Terrace, Inverine Road, Nadine Street, Priolo Road, Sundorne Road, Swallowfield Road, Wellington Gardens (including Wellesley Close).
What could you sell?
What you sell is up to you, but you could consider:
- Kids toys & books
- Kids clothes & shoes
- Household items
- Handmade items
- Art books and artwork
- Women’s clothes & accessories
- Games and jigsaws
How could you arrange your stall?
- Hang clothes on a washing line or clothes rail
- Make sure items cleaned and/or polished
- Organize items in themes or colours
- Display books on a table rather than in boxes
- Display your items at different heights if possible
How much does it cost?
The cost of registering to have a stall is:
CCRA Full or Associate Membership – £6.00
If you are a CCRA member without a front garden, or an Associate member who lives outside the CCRA area, there is an opportunity to have a stall in St Richard’s Church Hall, Swallowfield Road. This offer is subject to availability as the hall has limited space. Please apply early to avoid disappointment.
Non-Members – £8.00
New Members who register a stall and join CCRA for 2022 at the same time – £10.00
These costs are to pay for printed publicity before the event and a printed map available on the day.
What happens to the money I make?
It’s yours! Any money made from your stall is yours to keep or to donate to a charity of your choice.
How do I register to have a stall?
You can register online here.
Or call or text Jacqui on 07717 742886 to get a printed form to complete and return to 83 Swallowfield Road.
After you have registered and made your payment, your address will be added to the special CCRA map (online and printed) that will be available on the day. This will be given to all visitors so they can find you.
All registrations should be received by 10.00pm on Sunday 26th June.
If, nearer the date, we feel that your stall might not get enough visitors because of its location we will advise you and offer you a stall in St Richard’s Church Hall, subject to availability.
