An annual event to raise money for local charities, led by the CCRA singing group but open to all. Every year near the beginning of December we go round the streets in the CCRA area singing Christmas carols and making a collection for charity. In recent years, we have done this over two evenings. The charities we collect for are chosen by the CCRA Singing Group and are always local charities. We are grateful to local residents who have been consistently generous with their donations.
In 2018 we raised £610 through our carol singing, and this total was boosted by a kind donation from CCRA resident Sarah Hornsey and her team who won the White Swan Christmas Quiz and donated their £60 prize to our fund. The members of the team were: Sarah Hornsey, Cathy Boorer, Zoe Jestico, Pippa Koszerek, David Gayther, Malcolm Clack, Gavin Hadland, Ilona Hadland.

of £285 raised from your Christmas Carol Singing. It is very kind of you to support us in this way. As you know we are an independent charity and we raise all our own funds from a variety of sources. Every penny counts and support of local organisations and businesses is much appreciated. In 2016 / 17 we supported 319 local families including 469 local children. Our mobile outreach project helped 146 disadvantaged and isolated families in Greenwich borough. We also provided volunteer opportunities for 23 local people.
