COVID-19 (Coronavirus) – information for CCRA members and residents
Following the advice of the government, many CCRA social activities will be suspended. These include the exercise class and the singing group. The CCRA Spring Social, due to take place on April 4, has been cancelled.
At the same time, we are setting up a support network for CCRA members and local residents, so that people do not remain isolated or in need during this time.
Because of the health risk involved, we are not delivering the latest issue of Grapevine (No 57) until we are advised that it is safe to do so.
You can read and/or download Grapevine 57 here
Time to Get Fit
All activities at St Richard’s Hall have been suspended. The exercise sessions will resume as soon as it is safe to do so.
Carol Singers raise £630 for charity
Congratulations to our carol singers, who traversed the CCRA area on two consecutive Mondays, December 9th & 16th, and raised £630 which will be divided between the Greenwich Food Bank and the Greenwich Winter Night Shelter. We are grateful to our neighbours for their great generosity in donating to these worthy causes.
Have you renewed your membership?
New membership forms for 2020 can now be downloaded from our membership page. At just £7 a year (£5 for students and those on benefits) it’s amazing value for money, and helps us to organise a full range of social events, as well as producing Grapevine, our local newsletter.
Would you like to help us improve our environment?
We are holding an evening of drinks and nibbles on Mar 5 for anyone interested in joining our Environment Action Group.
