Spring Social
Spring Social – an annual event, usually with a different theme each year.
On Saturday 12th April the spring social, this year Quizingo, was underway. About 45 people took part in the evening of brain teasers, skill and of course a bit of luck. There was hot food and drinks to be had and people enjoyed getting together with neighbours for some fun, chat and prizes galore and a different take on a cross between bingo and a quiz.
Community Day
Every year we organise a community day on the first Saturday of July, with a focus on improving our environment and engaging with topics and issues of local interest. More recently, we’ve also held arts, crafts and jumble trails and a vintage fayre.
Flower, Produce and Craft Show
We host an annual Flower, Produce and Craft Show each September.
Open Gardens
Open Gardens is a popular event which we hope to bring back for 2025.
Annual General Meeting
Our Annual General Meeting usually takes place in early October.
It gives us a chance to update our members and to plan for the year ahead.
Quiz Night
Our very popular Quiz Night usually takes place on the same evening as our Annual General Meeting.
Christmas Fayre
This year’s Christmas Fayre will take place at St Richard’s on Swallowfield Road from 2pm – 5pm on Saturday 7 December.
We’ll have lovely stalls selling cards and gifts, activities for kids, mulled wine and mice pies, raffles, carole singing and more! Hope to see you there!
